This is the first comprehensive collection of Annette Messagers (born 1943) drawings, including 142 works made over the last 10 years, which constitute an invaluable lexicon to the mind and work of a trailblazing iconoclast. Messager redefined the role of women making art and the very nature of sculpture?accomplishments that won her the coveted Golden Lion for best national pavilion at the 51st Venice Biennale in 2005 and the Praemium Imperiale for sculpture in 2016.
